Mini-IMANI Reading Circles Kick-Off!

3:30pm-4:30pm
Mini-IMANI reading circles are child-driven book clubs for kids in grades K-5. Books are given out at each session. Children return two weeks later, ready to discuss the book with their peers.
On Sunday you will have the opportunity to:
- Receive an orientation for new and returning parents
- Register your child for the year
- Sign up for volunteer opportunities
- Hear about the exciting and fun activities planned for the year.

IMANI partners with the Montclair Public Schools to offer educational support programs that help elementary, middle, and high school students improve their academic 
performance. Our programs are designed to give underserved minority students the same opportunities that are available to more advantaged peers. Through a unique collaboration with parent volunteers, school district officials, and community leaders, IMANI has made considerable progress over the past ten years in narrowing the achievement gap between minority and white students.
